The international freight forwarding division of Grupo Alonso, operating under the Alonso Forwarding brand, continues to consolidate its growth with the opening of a new branch in Italy. Alonso Forwarding Italy, with an office in Milan, has been established to strengthen the company’s presence in one of Europe’s leading logistics markets and to offer a closer, more agile and specialised service.
The new branch offers end-to-end logistics solutions covering sea freight (FCL and LCL), air, road and rail transport, cross trade operations, customs management, warehousing, and cargo consolidation and deconsolidation services. This offering is designed to optimise the supply chain and meet the needs of companies operating in Italy, Europe or the main international trade corridors.

The opening of Alonso Forwarding Italy consolidates the company’s presence in one of the continent’s leading logistics centres. Milan’s location, close to major airport infrastructure, industrial areas and international transport corridors, makes it possible to offer greater connectivity and a more efficient response to foreign trade operations.
The new office specialises in sectors with high logistics requirements, such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotechnology, textiles, food and industry. It also has the capacity to handle temperature-controlled cargo, dangerous goods and highly complex logistics projects (project cargo), ensuring solutions tailored to each operation.
